Technical notes
Client component: useState holds the selected value in order to update the badge and the explanation. The real <select> is stretched over the whole trigger area through position:absolute;inset:0 and opacity:0, as in select-003 and select-011 — the click, the keyboard and the system list stay the browser's. The colour badge inside the trigger gets its tone from data-tone on span[data-part=badge], and the tone variables are declared on the block root. Under the field lives a paragraph with an explanation of the current priority, linked to the select through aria-describedby and declared role="status". The palette lives in --vibeui-select-028-*.
