Date Field Picker
A calendar opens from a field-shaped button rather than a separate icon: the button names the chosen date, arrows page through the month, and picking a day closes the panel and returns focus to the field.
What you can change
- the field caption through label and the hint through placeholder
- the initial date through defaultValue in YYYY-MM-DD format
- the calendar language through weekdays and months, the arrow labels through prevLabel and nextLabel, the panel name through panelHint with {label}

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-popover-011-*. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the month, the selection and focus management. The field-shaped button carries aria-haspopup="dialog" and aria-expanded, the panel is role="dialog" with a grid of day buttons. The date is computed with a plain Date, without libraries. Escape and an outside click close the panel without a pick and return focus to the field.
