A date range as two visible fields, "from" and "to": presets for "week", "month" and "quarter" fill them in without hiding the fields behind a mode.

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-filters-011-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the values and the presets. The presets are buttons with aria-pressed that compute dates from «today» through an ordinary Date. Both date fields stay visible at all times; a preset only fills in their values. Flipped bounds are swapped when focus leaves, and the summary sits in role="status".
