The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, palette in the local --vibeui-date-012-* variables. Client component: the selected date, the typed string and the displayed month live in state. The value belongs to a text form field and can be typed on the keyboard, while the grid is a second way to enter the same thing: it picks the typed string up only once it is complete, otherwise the month would jump on every digit. Choosing a day returns the date to the field and closes the panel. The panel is a native popover: top layer, Esc and outside clicks come from the browser, the position comes from CSS anchor positioning, and where that is missing the panel stays a card in the middle of the screen. The open prop unfolds it in page flow for the showcase and for screenshots.
