For developers

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-codeblock-010-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The main technique is box-decoration-break: clone on the inline code: without it a wrapped piece loses its rounding and its right padding. The chip dimensions are set in em, so it scales together with the paragraph text; the key is a separate kbd element with a thickened bottom border so that it is not confused with a command. The paragraph text lives in the commandText and shortcutText props as templates with {command}, {file}, {shortcut} and {configFile}: the substitution returns ready-made chips, so a translation changes the word order without touching the markup. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the paragraph has no surface by default.
